The East Coast Weekenders

Very happy to spend another colourful weekend with my hubby.

First of all, Selamat Hari Pekerja, and yahoo...dapat off sehari. Actually the planning is to have a trip to Singapore with KC's family..tapi nak buat macam mana...have to switch to plan B. anyway, we still did spend a few hours together last weekend.

On the way balik Pasir Mas, we did an east coast trip..waheh..its a new adventure for me as i tak penah lagi travel ikut jalan pantai timur ni. We travel all the way from Putrajaya starting at 6am, masuk kat MRR2, Karak Highway, LPT..dan here we are in Kuantan.

Pagi tu drive around Kuantan, pi tgk sekolah SEMSAS, chemi's school, UTM Caw. Kuantan, his college.Iits a mini education heritage trail la we had that morning.

Kami juga sempat pusing2 Teluk Chempedak. Lucky ada signboard sebagai saksi, ketibaan kitaorang kat sana.

then spend a few hours with my dear fren KC and family @ Duta Sands Beach Resort, Beserah, Kuantan.

balik tu tepaksa rush sebab dah lambat nak pi ke Kuala Terengganu. On the way there, kitaorang lalu la kat Paka dan Kerteh.
"Kerteh and Paka have a sizable expatriate community stationed here to work at the oil platforms and refineries. There are 60 offshore pipelines feeding into the gas and oil refineries and many international companies like Esso and Shell have set up their outfits here." Source: www.journeymalaysia.com

Loji Minyak @ Kerteh

Memang betul2 amazing that place, that i had never had imagine that Malaysia do have this kind of place. Wow, I am proud to Malaysian! (even prouder now.)

Finally arrive in Kerteh, first of all cari Keropok Lekor dulu le.
Lepak2 with my sister at Midtown Hotel...kebetulan ada trip Bank Rakyat Kulim (2 bas)-Family Day Trip to Pantai Timur.

Masjid Kristal, Kuala Terengganu

Then petang tu terus ke Masjid Kristal dan Taman Tamadun Islam. Tapi tak sempat ronda la sebab we are rushing back to rumah Kak Ila, in Jertih before head back to Pasir Mas.
