3 Days Before The Event:

- Makan red berries, strawberries, blueberries yang mempunyai anti-oksida yang tinggi.
- Makan makanan yang kaya dengan Omega3 - tuna, salmon.
- Kurangkan/elakkan makanan bergaram/masin.


Celebrity diet tips from Austin ("America's favorite fitness expert”)
Austin doesn't recommend going on a deprivation diet to lose weight. She suggests eating healthy foods that fill you up and banish bloat.

1. Eat more fiber
What to eat for glowing skin:
  • Austin's top food picks for stunning skin.
  • Salmon to calm inflammation
  • Cantaloupe with lycopene for a healthy glow
  • Berries with polyphenols for anti-aging and to fight wrinkles
  • Olive oil to beat dryness and roughness
  • Greens (broccoli, spinach, collards, mustards, kale) with antioxidants to keep skin elastic and zinc to build collagen
  • Carrots with beta-carotene to discourage wrinkles
  • Oatmeal with cleansing compounds to oust toxins
  • Water to keep skin hydrated and supple
"Foods that contain fiber are important to eat on the days leading up to a big event because they blast fat and naturally suppress the appetite," says the fitness expert. "Fiber-rich foods also help to 'flush you out,' therefore helping to keep you slim." She suggests adding beans to your dishes, munching on raw veggies and whole fruit, and choosing high fiber cereals and 100 percent whole-wheat bread.

2. Pump up your potassium
You can suffer from water retention and puffiness regardless of your size. However, you can look thinner by eating foods that are high in potassium and low in sodium. "These help prevent the dreaded bloat, making it that much easier to slip into a form-fitting dress," says Austin. "Try a veggie, like bok choy, or a fruit, like plums, to reap the benefits."

3. Go lean with protein
Waffles and pancakes may sound like a tasty way to start the day, but all those carbs will leave you lethargic by mid-morning and craving yet more carbs. If you want to look and feel your best all day, start your morning — especially on days you have a big event planned — with protein-packed eats. Austin says, "Fit protein into your meal to keep your energy up! Eggs or egg whites would be a good choice."

Diet 3 Hari

Tips from professional trainer.

Memang susah kalau nak start berdiet dan nak kawal pemakanan. Especially yang dah start kira kalori. Pening kepala rasanya nak kira semua benda before makan..end up makan makanan yang salah atau makan apa saja. huhu.


Tips:
Hari 1: Makan macam biasa dan tulis semua makanan apa yang kita makan selama 1 hari.

Hari 2: Kira kalori semua makanan yang kita makan dan buat kiraan jumlah kalori yang patut kita ambil. Mesti ternganga besar sebab tengok jumlah kalori selepas ditolak dengan kalori intake yang sepatutnya..huhu.

Hari 3: Makan apa yang bersesuaian dengan kadar kalori dan bersenam lah menghilangkan kalori yang tak sepatutnya itu.

Nota: Tips Dr. Fazley (yang berjaya hilang 20kg sebulan tanpa bersenam):
1. Makan buah epal merah, tembikai, strawberry. Buah ni paling kurang kalori.
2. Makan desert di waktu pagi - coklat cake, cekodok, etc). Elak amik desert selepas petang.
3. Kurangkan carbo - nasi, mi. Breakfast boleh amik bihun. Lebihkan lauk pauk. Sayur hijau dan protein.
4. Malam kalau lapar, makan microwaved asparagus/brocoli yang dibalut dalam kitchen towel dan diperasakan dengan salt&pepper.
5. Kurangkan sugar intake. Dr Fazley dah lama tak amik gula. Guna condensed milk atau stevia sebagai ganti.

Mungkin ini antara yang diamalkan. Selamat mencuba.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October it is.

Minggu lepas kami dikejutkan dengan kehilangan seorang aunty yang close dengan family kami. Puncanya adalah kerana breast cancer. Saya juga turut kehilangan seorang teman, disebabkan breast cancer yang dikesan ketika awal kehamilannya, dan dia pergi selamanya setelah anak berusia 6 bulan. Ya Allah, semoga dijauhkan la penyakit berbahaya ini daripada kami semua. Amin.

And also guys, you are not excepted. Teman karib rakanku, iaitu seorang lelaki juga sedang menderita sakit kanser payudara. Ya Allah, permudahkanlah mereka yang sedang bertarung dengan penyakit ini, Ya Allah. Amin.
